In 2015 Adobe and Ad Council launched an awareness campaign encouraging kids to stand up to cyberbullying whenever they witnessed it by using a simple tool--an emoji. The witness emoji was the first emoji ever created for a social cause. To bring more awareness to the emoji, the Ad Council partnered with Goodby & Silverstein in 2016 to launch a contest to allow kids to express their version of our eye-in-speech bubble design for the potential to win scholarship money. The project was kicked off by asking a select group of artists to show kids their interpretations of the emoji. As one of those artists, these were my emojis and accompanying designs:
